Using the "Scroll to Section" Button Action

Add a button that jumps your visitor straight to another block on the same page, with no page reload. Useful for long sales pages where the order form sits near the bottom.

On a long page, the thing you want someone to click is often way down at the bottom. Your order form, your sign-up block, your calendar. Your visitor has to scroll to find it.

Scroll to Section fixes that. It is a new action on the Button element in Page Builder, alongside the External link, Internal page, and Reveal extra text actions you already have. Put a button anywhere on the page, point it at any block on that same page, and clicking it smoothly scrolls your visitor right to it.

How to Add a Scroll to Section Button

  • Open Page Builder and add a Button element wherever you want it on the page. This is a regular button, so you can style it the way you style any other.

  • In the Button's settings, open the action list and choose Scroll to Section.

  • A new dropdown appears listing every block currently on that page. Pick the block you want the button to jump to.

  • Save your page, and you are all set.

Add your destination block before you add the button. The dropdown only lists blocks that already exist on the page, so if you have not built your order form section yet, there will be nothing to point at.

Good Ways to Use It

  • Put a "Get Started" button at the top of a long sales page that jumps straight down to your order form.

  • Repeat that same jump button every few sections, so your visitor can buy from wherever they happen to be reading.

  • Build a short menu at the top of a long custom page, with one button per section.

  • Send someone from an FAQ section down to the block that answers their question.

Important to Know

  • The page does not reload, and the URL does not change. Your visitor simply scrolls to the block you chose.

  • This action works on both desktop and mobile.

  • A Scroll to Section button does not award points, add tags, or fire celebrations. It is purely a navigation action, the same as Reveal extra text.

  • The button can only point at a block on the same page. To send someone to a different page, use the Internal page action instead.

  • If you delete the block a button points to, remember to update or remove that button.
