Transcription of your Videos
No matter what language your videos are in, our system will create a transcript, and make it available as Closed Captions that your student can turn on while they're watching your videos.
Your students can turn on the transcription feature using the "cc" button on the lower right hand corner of the screen:
Important Notes and FAQ about Closed Captions
This feature is ONLY available for videos uploaded since March 2023.
For videos uploaded before March 2023, the transcription feature won't be available.... BUT you can re-upload the video, and the new uploaded video will be automatically transcribed.
In most cases, closed captions are off by default. But in some browsers, the captions may be set to automatically play... if the captions are automatically playing and you want to adjust this, you can change this in your browser's settings.
At this time, it's not possible to edit the captions for videos that are uploaded to XP. The ability to edit these captions is a feature that may be added in the future
