Migrating from Teachable

Thinking of moving your course or program from Teachable to Xperiencify? Follow these steps to ensure a smooth migration!

1. Downloading All Program/Course Content from Teachable

  1. Log in to Your Teachable Account

  2. Navigate to Your Course

    • Click on the School from which you want to copy content.

    • Go to the Admin area by clicking the Admin link.

  3. Access Your Courses

    • Click the COURSES button in the left navigation.

    • Select the Course you wish to migrate.

    • Copy the Course name and description into the Membership Site Content Info Sheet.

  4. Download Branding Assets

    • Scroll to Branding.

    • Take a screenshot of the course image. (instructions for Mac and Windows)

  5. Download Curriculum Content

    • Click on Curriculum in the left navigation.

    • Note that each box represents a module and contains training items (lectures).

    • Copy each module name and training name into your Membership Site Content Info Sheet.

  6. Save Training Details

    • For each training in the first module:

      • Click to view training details.

      • Copy the introduction text from the Text section into your Membership Site Content Info Sheet.

      • Right-click the video name in the Video section, and select Save As to download the raw video file.

      • Take a screenshot of the video poster image. (instructions for Mac and Windows)

  7. Download Additional Resources

    • If the training includes any resources, download them as well.

    • Repeat these steps for each video and resource in your course/program.


2. Uploading Your Program/Course Content to Xperiencify

  1. Log in to Your Xperiencify Account

  2. Create a New Program/Course (if needed)

    • If your program/course doesn’t exist yet, create one using the same name as in Teachable. Set up the program name, description, price, etc.

  3. Add Modules and Trainings

    • Add your first module, ensuring it matches the name used in Teachable.

    • Add each training into the first module, referring to your Membership Site Content Info Sheet.

  4. Upload Bonus Content

    • Follow the instructions for adding any bonus content you have.

  5. Add Replays

    • Follow the instructions for adding any replays.

  6. Complete Extra Setup Steps

    • Configure Program Home Page: Add countdown timers, welcome/orientation video, student goals, and pre-actions.

    • Set Content Release Schedule: Decide how and when your content will be released to students (e.g., dripped over days or weeks).

    • Add Post-Training Actions: Incorporate XPs and XXPs for actions students should take after each training.

    • Add Training Resources: Upload any additional materials such as worksheets, overviews, lesson plans, audio files, Excel or Word docs, etc.
