XPIPS supports news trading and does not restrict traders from holding positions during major economic releases.
What you can do
Keep all open positions running during news events
Trades opened before a restricted window may remain active without any forced closures
Trading is fully allowed during the Evaluation phase
Funded Accounts β Entry Restrictions
To maintain equal conditions during periods of extreme volatility, XPIPS applies a short entry restriction window around high-impact news releases.
β± Restricted window:
5 minutes before the news release
5 minutes after the news release
During this 10-minute window, opening new trades is not allowed.
How profits are handled
Trades opened inside the restricted window are not permitted
If a trade was opened before the restricted window and closes in profit during the news window, the profit from that trade will be removed
The account itself will not be breached in this case
This policy allows traders to participate in news-driven markets while ensuring fairness and stability across all funded accounts.
