Online security is important. In the fight against hacking, banks in particular have used security certificates and encryption of data. This is becoming a standard and Google Chrome will soon display a warning if a website is "not secure".

What does "not sure" mean? "

Not secure" means that a website does not have a definite security certificate. You could always tell if a website was secure when it said HTTPS instead of HTTP

HTTPS or Secure HTTP is an encryption method that secures the connection between your browser and the server. This makes it harder for hackers to interfere with your connection.

To protect the data transfer, a secure connection must be established. This is where SSL and HTTPS come into play.

Each website is issued a unique SSL certificate for identification.

If a server pretends to be on HTTPS and its certificate does not match, most modern browsers will warn the user to connect to the website.

XpressU has had a security certificate installed and is now running HTTPS!

How are you affected ?

- That your data and presentations are better secured.

- That your recipients do not get a warning when they have to see your presentations.

- That it will be easier for you to log in. (see "Changes in login")

Should I do something?

You don't have to do anything. All your presentations still work.

💡 For your own sake, we generally recommend that you use the latest browsers and let them update when prompted.

Changes in login

At the same time, we have changed the address for XpressU accounts. Before, each XpressU account had its own domain. For example, builder.mitdomaene.xpressu.dk.

From now on, you just need to write builder.xpressu.dk and you will get to a login screen.

We have of course made sure that your previous address still works. Furthermore, we have added a login button to XpressU from the website so that you always have an easy way.
