Choose Whether Your Users MUST Watch the Entire Video

XpressU is frequently used for e-learning, for example, to test if users have understood a key message. If you've added questions to a video, it may not be ideal for users to skip through the video. Now, you can decide whether they’re allowed to do that or not.

Go to the Settings tab in your presentations.
There you’ll find the "Cannot Skip Video" option, which is turned off by default.

If users try to fast forward or skip to the next frame, they will be notified about this feature.

☝️ Note: When you are running your presentation in XpressU Builder, for testing purposes, you will be able to skip through the video!

We hope you find this feature helpful. It was added based on feedback from other XpressU users. Feel free to share your suggestions in the chat or by using our feedback form.

New and Improved Text Editor

The old text editor was quite basic, mainly for adding a simple headline and a bit of body text on the start page of an XpressU Presentation.

We’ve now implemented a new one with a lot more features!

Check out the image here or discover it the next time you open a presentation in the XpressU builder 🤩

☝️ The new editor is available everywhere the old one was used.

You can even add an image on this page now.
This wasn't a planned feature, just a little bonus 😊

Better Overview in the Statistics Section

We've made an update to the XpressU statistics module.

A presentation can have settings for what users need to fill in before they start. These data points used to be grouped under an icon:

Information was shown by hovering over the icon

Now, these data points are displayed directly in columns in the overview.

On the far right, you can choose which data points to display.

You can adjust which data points are shown by clicking the green gear icon on the right

In this example, all three data points are selected. You can choose which ones to display by checking the boxes you want.
