What are embeds and how to use them?

Embedding lets you bring content from other apps or sources straight into your xTiles workspace. This makes it easy to keep everything in one place and interact with it without constantly switching between programs. You can add content from different apps into xTiles using these features:

"Embed" block:


You can easily embed content from many popular apps, for example:

  • X (Twitter): Embed tweets or timelines directly on your xTiles page to keep social updates in one place.

  • Loom: Add Loom videos so users can watch recordings without leaving xTiles.

  • Figma: Embed Figma designs and prototypes to collaborate visually within your workspace.

  • YouTube: Add YouTube videos directly to your page for easy viewing.

  • Google Maps: Embed maps and locations to share directions or points of interest.

  • Google Slides: Insert presentations so you can view slideshows without switching apps.

  • Google Docs: Add documents for easy reference and collaboration.

  • Google Sheets: Embed spreadsheets to display data and tables directly.

  • Pinterest: Include boards or pins to showcase ideas and inspiration.

  • Instagram: Embed posts or reels to display content from Instagram feeds.

Can I embed a PDF?

Yes, you can use the “Embed as PDF” feature from the command list to upload PDFs directly from your device and view them conveniently right within xTiles.



Does xTiles support embedding pictures and audio files?

Yes, embedding image links and audio from device is possible:

  • Images: Embed links to images on the canvas or in a tile, or upload them using the special "Image" block.

  • Audio: Upload and play audio files from device using the dedicated audio block.
