Where to Find Templates and How to Save Them

In xTiles, you don't always have to start from scratch to find a system that works for you. It's possible to choose from a variety of different and detailed templates: for personal life, journaling, tracking budget, reports, and teamwork of any kind — all pre-built and ready to use in one click.

It's possible to access templates from the place called Template Gallery — where you can view, apply, and manage templates in xTiles.

Note that templates in My Planner are different from templates in any project. Read more about how to use and save My Planner Templates here.

Create a Project from Template

To access the Template Gallery and create a new project from a template, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Homepage

  2. Click the Explore Templates button in the top-right corner

  3. Open the Template Gallery to view available templates

  4. After choosing a template, you can preview it first, and then apply it either as a new template or as already pre-filled (with all example content included).

The Template Gallery is divided into categories, so you can find templates that suit you best:

  • ADHD Brains – Best templates for decluttering and making life with ADHD easier

  • Personal Life – Overcome your personal challenges

  • Productivity – Find engaging ways to improve your time and task management

  • Work – Facilitate your work, whether it’s a project or brainstorming ideas

  • Agency / Team – Make note-taking, project tracking, and managing CRM clear and effective

  • Education – Make your academic experience more fun and boost your academic performance

Another way to find a template is to use the search bar at the top of the Template Gallery — you can enter what you’re looking for, and the template will be found via keywords.

Create a Page from Template

It’s possible to add a template to a page when creating a new page by following these steps:

  1. Click the New Page button (the “+” icon) at the top of your page.

  2. A new page will be created.

  3. In the window that appears, choose “All Templates” in the bottom-right corner.

  4. The Template Gallery for pages will open. You can choose a template by searching with keywords or using tags.

Premium Templates

In the Template Gallery, templates are divided into Free and Premium. Premium Templates are more detailed and nuanced — most notably, they often include pages with advanced layouts and contain premium features.

All Premium Templates are marked with Lightning icon (⚡)

To access and use Premium Templates, a Plus Plan is required.


There are three additional sections in the Template Gallery where you can add and view specific templates.

Favorites

You can save a template to Favorites by clicking the star icon (★) that appears when hovering over any template. This way, you’ll always have quick access to the templates you like or use most frequently.

My Templates

My Templates is a section where your own saved projects or pages will be added. You can save your own pages with designs you’ve created and adjusted, and reuse them after saving to a template. The Save as Template option can be found in the respective Project or Page settings.

Here you can see all the templates that you have purchased.
