A recurring tasks is a task that comes back automatically according to the schedule you choose. When you complete it, the task moves to the next date in the sequence — for example, tomorrow for daily tasks, next week for weekly tasks, or next month for monthly tasks.
You will only see one occurrence at a time, and future instances don’t appear until you complete the current one. This makes it easy to focus on the next task without being overwhelmed by multiple future entries.
This is especially handy in My Planner, because once you complete a task, it automatically appears on the next day in eXtra tiles across daily and weekly Planner views, as well as on the Calendar page.
Common ways to use recurrent tasks:
Daily habits (like drinking water or exercising)
Weekly chores or meetings
Monthly reports or bills
Yearly events (like birthdays or taxes)
Other custom recurrences with more flexible intervals
How to set a recurrent task
Create a task in a tile.
Click the Calendar icon to open Task settings.
At the bottom, click 🔄 No Repeat .
Choose a recurrence option:

Set Custom Interval
In xTiles, if your tasks require a more specific or irregular pattern, you can set your own recurrence interval by selecting Custom… at the bottom of recurrence options.
Flexible Intervals
You can create a task that repeats at any interval, for example:
Every 5 days
Every 3 weeks
Every 4 months
Every 2 years
This lets you handle irregular or specific schedules easily.
Daily Recurrence Options
For daily tasks, you can choose to skip weekends, which is useful for work routines that only occur on weekdays.
Weekly Recurrence Options
For weekly tasks, you can select specific days of the week, such as:
Every Monday
Every Wednesday and Friday
Any combination of weekdays that fits your workflow
Monthly Recurrence Options
Monthly tasks can be scheduled in multiple ways:
Specific day of the month (1–31)
Advanced patterns, like first, second, third, or last occurrence of a specific weekday
Example: last Friday of every month
Note: Setting a recurrent task is a PLUS feature and requires a Plus plan.
