The search drawer is a key feature of Next theme that enhances the search functionality on your store.

Enable Search Drawer

Activate the search drawer to enhance the search experience.

Enabling this option allows users to access a convenient search drawer that enhances their search experience.

  • Full Width: When enabled, the search drawer will expand to full width.


Search Behavior

Control how the search results are displayed.


Here, you can specify how the search results should behave and what information should be displayed.

  • Enable Search Suggestions: This option provides users with search suggestions as they type, making it easier for them to find what they're looking for.

  • Show Price: Display product prices in the search results to give users quick pricing information.

  • Show Vendor: Display the vendor or manufacturer information in the search results.


Search For

Configure the types of content that should appear in search results.

You can specify which content types should be included in the search results.

  • Products: Control the maximum number of products to show in the search results. You can specify the maximum number of products you want to appear.

  • Pages: Include website pages in the search results.

  • Blog Posts: Include blog posts in the search results.

Customizing these settings allows you to tailor the search drawer to meet the needs of your website visitors, making it easier for them to discover relevant content and products.

Popular Collections

Promote your popular collections and important products when the search bar is empty.

This feature allows you to showcase collections and products prominently in the search drawer when the search bar is empty.

  • Heading: Enter a custom heading to describe the purpose of this section. For example, you can use a heading like "Discover Our Popular Collections."

  • Collections: Select the collections you want to feature here. When users don't enter a search query and the search bar is empty, these collections will be displayed prominently in the search drawer, making it easy for visitors to explore your popular collections.


Popular Products

Highlight your important products in the search drawer.

This setting enables you to emphasize specific products within the search drawer.

  • Heading: Create a custom heading to introduce this section. For instance, you can use a heading like "Check Out Our Featured Products."

  • Products: Choose the products you want to showcase here. When the search bar is empty, these selected products will be prominently displayed in the search drawer, making them more accessible to your customers.

Customizing these settings allows you to strategically promote popular collections and important products, enhancing the user experience and encouraging visitors to explore your most relevant and appealing content.
