NEW OFFERINGS

Replacement Guide

  • The new Replacement Guide feature helps users select a new Xylem product to replace an old or obsolete Xylem product, or a competitor's product.

  • This feature is available to registered users who are signed into Solver. Simply go to the 'Replace' tile on the Solver homepage to access the Replacement Guide.

  • Refer to the Xylem Solver User Guide for details.

Project Sharing

  • Project owners can now share their projects with others, granting either read or edit permissions. Read access: Users can view the project and download documents only. Edit access: Users can view, edit the project, and download documents.

  • You can share projects with anyone. If the recipient does not have a Solver account, they will receive an email notification with instructions to register and create an account to access the shared project. Once they sign in to Solver, they will be able to view the project.

  • To share a project, go to the Projects tab > Share & Collaborate. You can also check the sharing status of a project directly from the main projects view.

ENHANCEMENTS

Head Loss Calculator

  • Bug Fixes: General data-related issues have been resolved to enhance accuracy and performance.

  • Nominal Piping Bug Fix: A bug affecting nominal piping calculations has been fixed, ensuring more reliable results. The pipe sizes are now included, matching the same as Xylect for better consistency and ease of use.

  • K Factor Category Added: A new category for the K factor has been introduced, allowing you to account for minor losses due to fittings, valves, and other system components. The Xylem Solver User Guide has been revised to include this update.

  • Head Loss Overview PDF: You can now view and download a detailed overview of your head loss calculations in PDF format for easy reference. The Xylem Solver User Guide has been revised to include this update.

Fluid Type Selection: Sludge and Slurry

  • The following product series have Sludge as their fluid type: D 3000, D 8000, D 8200, F 3000, N 3000, N 3000 Large, Concertor.

  • The following product series have Slurry as their fluid type: H 5000, Bravo.

  • When both Sludge and Slurry compatible series are selected, both fluid types will appear in the Fluid Type List.

  • For series that do not support a specific fluid type, it will not be shown in the list.

  • This update ensures that only applicable fluid types are displayed based on the selected product series.
