Release notes for Xylem Solver version 2.0.9

Updated over 3 weeks ago

NEW OFFERINGS

Save and Customize Output Document Preferences via User Profile Settings

  • A new enhancement has been added to Solver that allows users to set default settings for the contents of output documents. Users can configure three key areas:

    • Global Pages: Choose whether the Cover Letter and Price Sheet are included by default in the downloaded quotation documents.

    • Data Sheets: Select specific Data Sheets to include in your document, ensuring that only relevant technical information appears in the final PDF.

    • Curve Analysis: Set a preferred default curve type (e.g., Hydraulic curve, System curve, Efficiency, Power) for the Product Details page.

  • These settings are saved at the individual user level and will automatically apply to all output documents generated during the quotation process. You can still adjust the settings for individual projects as needed, but setting your defaults once helps streamline your workflow, save time, and maintain consistency across your documents.

  • The Xylem Solver User Guide has been revised to include this update.

Search

  • Extended the availability of the "Inlet Pressure Head" field in the search section to all industrial product applications and ensured it is included in the required configuration data.

New Product Models

  • Lowara e-SVX: 14 new Close Valve (CV) models have been added to the Lowara e-SVX product range. These models are similar to the standard versions but include the following key updates to ensure greater clarity and alignment with product specifications:

    • The product code now includes the label “Close Valve” for easy identification.

    • Flange options have been updated and are now limited to sizes 1-22: T, F, R, N and sizes 33-125: G, N.

PLATFORM MAINTENANCE

Headloss Calculator (HLC)

  • Fixed an issue in HLC PDF generation where Greek characters were not displayed correctly. Greek language PDFs now show all text properly.

  • Updated the document output to include the HLC image along with user-selected fields, such as layout and system type, when using the Head Loss Calculator.

  • The Solver Sludge calculation has been reviewed and updated to ensure it now matches the expected results, providing accurate and reliable outputs.

  • The issue with DocGen for HLC not displaying the fluid type has been resolved. DocGen now correctly returns the fluid type for the HLC data, ensuring accurate results.

Document Output

  • Changed the Explosion Proof field in PDF documents to show 'Yes' or 'No' instead of 'True' or 'False'.

  • Fixed an issue where action buttons on the Advanced DocGen popup were hidden on small screen resolutions, making them now fully accessible.

B&G MiniBoost Extreme

  • The 575V MiniBoost models using ST pumps have been restored and are now available for selection in Solver.

Lowara Products

  • General - Removed extra footnote numbers from seal material names for CEA, CIE, CA, CO, and e-HM products to match the technical brochure.

  • Boosters:

    • Resolved missing dimensions across multiple GHV20 models. Affected products now correctly display dimensions on-screen and in PDF documents. This includes the following models:

      • GHV20/33SVX2G055/4

      • GHV20/66SVX2G150/4

      • GHV20/15SVX03Z2R040/4

      • GHV20/22SVX04Z1R055/4

      • All models in the range between GHV20/33SVX2G055/4 and GHV20/66SVX2G150/4

    • Added the missing R version flange option for GHV20/15SVX05 by updating the flange section.

  • CA Series:

    • Added two new Lowara CA series pumps—sizes 120/34 and 70/44—to Solver with full configuration support.

  • Z Series:

    • Fixed an issue where motor names were displayed incompletely under the “Details” > “Motor” section for Z series submersible pumps when selecting high temperature versions with SD voltage.

  • e-NSC Series:

    • The default installation type for Lowara e-NSC pumps has been updated in Xylem Solver to align with current configuration standards. This change ensures consistency with the preferred configuration setup for the e-NSC series.

      • Previous default: Frame Mounted

      • New Default: Close Coupled (monobloc e-NSCE)

Goulds Products

  • e-MP:

    • Fixed an issue where the suction size was missing for the drive version of GWT e-MP, making it available for selection to support boiler feed quotations.

    • Resolved a timeout error during configuration of GWT e-MP products in 50 Hz setups, ensuring stable performance and full configurability.

  • e-SV:

    • Fixed an issue where dimensions were not showing for 66SV1 1750rpm, due to an invalid 'Motor_Power' value, which has been corrected.

    • Corrected the motor frame size logic for e-SV Goulds so the right size is shown on the configuration page and in motor data.

  • e-SH:

    • The issue of overlapping construction material details has been resolved. The material details now display correctly without any overlap in the product details.

  • e-HME:

    • As part of our latest product update, the following older seal options (BVE, QQK, BQK) have been removed from the system to help ensure consistency with current engineering standards.

    • Moving forward, the only available seal options for Goulds e-HME models are:

      • Rotating Face: Carbon, Silicon Carbide

      • Stationary Face: Silicon Carbide

      • Elastomers: EPDM, Viton
