Smart Spaces QR codes give guests immediate access to property information at the moment they need it. Good placement improves scanning and reduces avoidable questions.
Put each code near its purpose
Place amenity codes beside thermostats, appliances, laundry equipment, entertainment systems, grills, hot tubs, or other equipment.
Place the Wi-Fi code in a high-visibility arrival area and near the primary living space.
Place a guidebook cover code near the entrance or welcome materials.
Use marketing opt-in codes only where guests have time to understand what they are joining.
Make the code easy to scan
Print at high resolution and keep adequate white space around the code.
Mount it at a comfortable height with good lighting and no glare.
Avoid curved, textured, moving, or frequently covered surfaces.
Test the final printed code with more than one phone before installing it.
Protect and maintain it
Laminate indoor cards when they may be touched or splashed. Use weather-resistant material or a sealed holder outdoors. Add QR checks to routine property inspections and replace faded or damaged prints.
