Add and Verify Email DNS Records

Copy Yada's domain-authentication, DMARC, and branded-link records into your DNS provider and verify them.

Use the exact records shown on your Yada Email integration page. Record values are unique to your sending domain.

Before you begin

You need permission to edit DNS for the root domain. If another person manages DNS, use Yada's copy controls to send them the exact record list.

Add the records

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Email.

  2. Open the pending domain configuration.

  3. For each displayed record, create a DNS record with the same type, host, and value.

  4. Leave TTL at your provider's default unless your DNS administrator requires another value.

  5. Add the recommended DMARC record when shown.

Some DNS providers expect only the relative host. For example, a displayed host ending in your root domain may need that root-domain suffix removed in the provider's Host field.

Set SendGrid authentication and branded-link CNAME records to DNS only. Proxying those records prevents verification.

Verify

Return to Yada and select the domain verification action. Verify branded link tracking separately if it is configured. DNS can verify within minutes, but provider caching can take longer.
