Fill Empty Nights with Guest Signals

Use Gap Night Fill and Unbooked Weekend signals to offer open dates to the right past guests, then decide what to review versus automate.

Guest Signals finds time-sensitive open dates in your calendar and suggests past guests who are a good fit. Use it to fill gap nights and empty weekends without blasting your whole list.

Know which signal to trust first

  • Gap Night Fill: an empty night between two booked stays. These are usually the lowest-risk fills because the dates are already framed by occupancy.

  • Unbooked Weekend: a Friday or Saturday with no booking. Higher value, and worth a closer read before you send.

  • Seasonal Return: a past guest whose trip pattern suggests they may come back for the same season.

  • Local Guest: a nearby past guest. Higher spam risk. Leave this type off until the other three are producing clean replies.

Review before you automate

  1. Open Marketing → Guest Signals.

  2. Filter the queue to Open and start with Gap Night Fill.

  3. Open a signal. Check the listing, dates, suggested guest, and why Yada scored them.

  4. Generate a message, edit it, and accept to send or schedule. Dismiss anything that is duplicate, too soon after other outreach, or no longer available.

Use the occupancy heatmap on the same page to see where the calendar is actually empty before you send.

Turn on automation only after quality looks good

Open Settings → Guest Signals. Automatic sending is off for every type until you enable it. Start with Gap Night Fill only.

  • Set a minimum score, a daily cap, and a review delay so you can cancel a pending send.

  • Keep quiet hours on. Yada will not auto-send during those hours.

  • Add short message guidance per type if you want a specific offer, such as a one-night discount.

  • Enable Unbooked Weekend after gap nights are converting cleanly. Enable Local Guest last, if at all.

Watch outcomes

Use the activity feed and headline metrics on Guest Signals for sends, replies, and wins. Follow resulting work on Marketing → Opportunities. If replies feel off, lower the daily cap or turn that type back to review-only before you send more.
