Kube integrates with Google Calendar, which allows you to list your properties and spaces on third-party listing sites that also integrate with Google Calendar. This integration allows for inventory control of your spaces and prevents double bookings between Kube and third-party sites. You can also use Google Calendar to display room availability on devices such as monitors and tablets.
To list your properties and spaces, you must first create a Google account for each of your properties and one calendar for each of the property's spaces that you wish to list. You can then link your properties and, afterwards, your spaces.
When you connect a property and its spaces to Google Calendar, Kube syncs bookings made in Kube and through the Member and Prospect Portals to Google Calendar and also syncs third-party bookings from Google Calendar into Kube. When Kube syncs a booking from Google Calendar, it does not create charges or deduct hours/credits. The third-party site is responsible for billing the bookings made through their site. If a booking cannot be synced, Kube displays a message listing the booking.
Every time an internal user makes a booking in Kube, Kube immediately syncs it to Google Calendar. Whenever a new third-party booking syncs to Google Calendar, Kube immediately syncs it into Kube.
NOTES:
The following should be taken into consideration when creating bookings:
When a booking is created in Kube, that booking should only be modified in Kube. The booking syncs with Google Calendar, but if changes are made in Google Calendar, those changes do not sync with Kube.
If a booking is created in Google Calendar, the booking should be modified using Google Calendar. Changes made to the booking via Google Calendar reflect accordingly in Kube.
If a booking is created with a third party booking application that syncs with Google Calendar and, in turn, Kube, that booking should only be updated with the third party booking application. Updates made in Google Calendar or Kube do not sync with the third party booking application.
