Editing a tax code (United States)

Updated over 2 months ago

When you use United States Tax, you can add tax codes to each of your properties that you can apply to spaces, amenities, and services at that property. If you need to make changes to an existing tax code, you can do so. This article discusses editing a domestic tax code. For more information about editing an international tax rate, see Editing a tax rate (international regions).

When you save your changes to a tax code, Kube updates all open charges that include the tax. Kube also updates all items that contain the tax in contract drafts that have not yet been activated. If an active contract contains items with the edited tax, Kube updates the tax once the contract auto renews, if auto renew is enabled, or when the contract is amended.
