Setting a property's door availability buffer time for bookings

When you add a door, you can decide whether you want the door to automatically allow members to unlock it for bookings using their physical credentials or the Member Portal app. If allowed, you can customize the amount of time before and after the booking starts and ends that you want a property's doors to be available. This article explains setting a property's door availability buffer time. For more information about unlocking doors for bookings, see Preventing a door from being unlocked for bookings.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To set a property's door availability buffer time for bookings

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate your property in the data grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Setup in the side menu and select the Access Control tab. The Settings screen appears.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. In the Booking Buffer Before/After fields, enter how many minutes before and after the booking the property's doors should unlock.


    NOTE: The maximum buffer time is 15 minutes.


  6. Click Save.
