Setting a door's auto unlock schedule

Updated over 3 months ago

You can set doors to automatically unlock based on the access control schedule you assign to them. When a door automatically unlocks, members do not need a door access credential to use the door during the scheduled unlock period.

This article is part of the Kube access control setup flow. For more information, see Kube setup checklist.

NOTES:

  • You must add access control schedules before you can set a door's auto unlock schedule. For more information, see Adding an access control schedule.

  • If you need to manually unlock a door for a customer, see Manually unlocking a door.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To set a door's auto unlock schedule

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate your property in the data grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Access Control in the side menu. The Overview screen appears.

  4. Locate the door in the grid and click the Additional Options button.

  5. Select Auto Unlock Schedule from the drop-down menu.

  6. Click the Edit button.

  7. In the Schedule drop-down menu, select the schedule you want Kube to use when unlocking the door.

TIP: Select None if you do not want the door to automatically unlock.

  8. Click Save.

TIP: The next step in the Kube access control setup process is to add access control amenities. For more information, see Adding an access control credential amenity.
