Making a company tax exempt (United States tax)

Updated over 2 months ago

If you use Domestic Tax, you can make a company tax exempt so that Kube does not charge the company tax for charges that normally include tax. For more information about Domestic Tax, see Adding a domestic tax code to a property.

When you make a company tax exempt, you select the properties at which the company does not pay tax. If the company incurs charges at the selected properties, Kube does not apply tax to any charges that would normally be taxed.

This article is part of the Kube customers setup flow. For more information, see Customers setup checklist.

NOTE: By default, all companies pay tax. You can also make a company tax exempt from the property Receivables screen. For more information, see Adding a domestic tax code to a property.
