Adding a lead

Updated over 4 months ago

A lead is a potential customer who becomes a member when they complete a purchase or booking in the Prospect Portal. An internal user may also create a booking or contract on the lead's behalf.

Leads can be associated with multiple properties, but they can only have one primary property, which is the property the lead visits or does business with most regularly.

This article is part of the Kube customers setup flow. For more information, see Customers setup checklist.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To add a lead

  1. Select Leads in the top menu.

  2. Click the Add Lead button. The New Lead window appears.

  3. Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see the New Lead Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  4. Click Next. The New Company window appears.

  5. Either create a new company or select an existing company by selecting the Existing Company radio button. For field descriptions, see Adding a company.

  6. Click Save.

TIP: This is the last step in setting up leads. For more information, see Customers setup checklist.
