A lead is a potential customer who becomes a member when they complete a purchase in the Prospect Portal or when you activate a contract they are the primary contact of. After you add a lead, you can archive, or make inactive, the lead to revoke the lead's login credentials to the Prospect Portal and to prevent internal users from adding the lead to a contract. You cannot archive a lead who is the primary contact for a company or contract. Assign a new primary contact to the company and archive the lead again. You can reactivate, or make active, an archived lead to reinstate their login credentials to the Prospect Portal and to allow internal users to add them to contracts.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
To archive and activate a lead
Select Leads in the top menu.
To archive a lead, locate the lead in the grid and click the Additional Options button next to the lead's name.
Select Archive from the drop-down menu. A confirmation prompt appears.
Click OK.
NOTE: If a second confirmation request appears, you cannot archive the lead because the lead is the primary contact of a company or contract. Address the issues on the list and archive the lead again.
To activate a lead, switch to Archived using the toggle located towards the top right of the data grid.
Locate the lead in the grid and click the Additional Options button next to the lead's name.
Select Activate from the drop-down menu. A confirmation request appears.
Click OK.
