Managing a member's visitor management settings

The Visitor Management App allows a member to select whether they receive SMS notifications and Email notifications when a visitor selects their information in the Visitor Management App. The member can also choose whether their name appears in the Member List when this field Type is used. For more information on the field types, see Setup form types glossary.

The member can make these selections for themselves in their Member Portal, or these selections can be modified on the member's behalf. This article describes changing these settings on the member's behalf.

Updating a member's Visitor Management settings

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Members from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the member in the data grid and click the member's name. The Essentials window appears. Click Detailed View.

  3. Select Visitor Management in the side menu and click the edit button.

  4. Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see Visitor Management Member Settings Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  5. Click Save.

Opt-Out of Visitor Notification Emails

Select whether a member would like to receive notifications through email when a visitor selects their information.

Opt-Out of Visitor Notification SMS Messages

Select whether a member would like to receive notifications through SMS when a visitor selects their information.

Member Visibility

Select the properties where the member's name appears in Member Lists when the option is used in a form.

NOTE: This field can be left empty if the member does not want visitors to be able to search for their name through the Visitor Management App.
