Overview
The Guides section allows you to create, edit and manage curated content for members — such as city hotspots, local tips, or themed experience collections.
1. Viewing All Guides
Navigate to Guides → All Guides from the left menu.
The list shows each guide with the following columns:
Name – title of the guide (e.g., “New York Work Vibez”).
Author – the member or admin who created the guide.
Cities – the city assigned to the guide.
Created At – when the guide was published.
Use the Search bar to find a guide by name.
Use the City filter to narrow the list by location.
2. Viewing Guide Details
Click the guide’s Name to open its detail page.
On the detail page you’ll see:
Preview Image – header or cover image of the guide.
Information – title, author, city, creation and update timestamps.
PDF Preview – preview of the uploaded or auto-generated PDF guide.
Links:
Direct to App link – opens the guide inside the member app.
Dynamic link – shareable link externally.
Click Edit if you need to update title, author, city, or replace image/PDF.
3. Adding a New Guide
Go to Guides → New.
Fill in required fields:
Hotspot Name – title of the guide (e.g., “Lisbon Work Vibez”).
Author – select a member to assign as the guide author.
Description – short summary of what the guide contains.
Global (optional) – tick this box if the guide should be visible across all cities rather than just one.
Category – choose guide type (e.g., Work, Eats, Lifestyle).
Cities – select the city that the guide belongs to.
Upload files:
Cover Image – what members see when browsing the guide.
Hotspot PDF – the content of the guide.
Click Submit to create the guide.
💡 Upload both a cover image and a PDF for a professional, polished member experience.
4. Deleting a Guide
On the guide’s detail page, scroll to the bottom and click Delete.
⚠ Deleting a guide is permanent and cannot be undone.
Admin Tips
Use consistent naming and categorization for guides to enhance member discovery.
Regularly review outdated guides and update or archive them to keep content relevant.
If a guide is set to be Global, ensure its content is appropriate for all cities.
Monitor author assignments to ensure accountability and updates.
