Overview

This guide explains how to view, filter, and manage all member match-interactions in the Admin dashboard. Whether members are connecting, being matched, or interacting via your network, you’ll learn where these records show up and how to work with them.

1. Access the Matches Directory

  • In Admin, navigate to Matches.

  • You’ll see all match records between members — whether initiated by the system, self-service, or manually created.

  • Use the Search bar to look up a specific member by name or email, or filter by date range to focus on recent activity.

2. Filters & Table View

Within the Matches directory you’ll have columns like:

  • Member A – the first participant.

  • Member B – the second participant.

  • Status – e.g., Pending, Accepted, Declined, Archived.

  • Date Created – when the match record was created.

  • Interaction Count – how many messages/interactions occurred (if tracked).

  • Last Activity – date of the most recent interaction or update.

Use filters to:

  • Narrow by Status to focus on active matches.

  • Filter by Date Range: Today, This Week, Custom.

  • Search by member name or email.

  • Sort columns by date or last activity.

3. Viewing Match Details

Click on a match row to open the detail page. Here you can see:

  • Both members’ profiles (names, tier, join date).

  • Match status and history of any updates.

  • Interaction details (messages, check-ins, meet-ups) if your system tracks them.

  • Options to Change Status (e.g., mark as Accepted, Declined, or Archived).

  • Notes or admin comments (if you use note-fields for follow-up).

4. Taking Admin Actions

On the match detail page you can:

  • Edit the match status.

  • Add internal notes or flags (e.g., follow-up recommended).

  • Archive matches that are no longer relevant to keep the active list clean.

  • If relevant, export or report on the match for analytics (e.g., “How many matches led to events?”).

5. Best Practices for Admins

  • Monitor the Pending matches list regularly to ensure timely engagement.

  • Use the Last Activity sort to find stale matches (e.g., no interaction in 30+ days) and consider archiving or following up.

  • Leverage notes to track if a match led to an event, booking, or other engagement outcome for future reporting.

  • Clean up old or unused matches to keep the directory manageable and relevant.
