Cancel a membership directly in the Admin dashboard

Instructions

  1. In the member’s profile in Admin, click Cancel.

  2. Choose one of the two cancellation options:

    • Immediately: Ends the membership now and access is revoked instantly.

    • End of Current Period: Cancels at the end of the current billing period; the member keeps access until then.

  3. Click Cancel Subscription to confirm


FAQ

  • Does canceling refund the current period?
    Only if you choose “Immediately” and process a refund. If you choose "End of Current Period", the member retains access until the end of that period.

  • What’s the difference between deleting a user and canceling a membership?

    • Canceling a membership ends the subscription but keeps the member’s profile and history.

    • Deleting a user removes the profile entirely along with all history (check-ins, trips, referrals, transactions). It does not automatically cancel a Stripe subscription, so you must cancel the membership first.



Tips for Admins

  • Before updating or cancelling a membership, review any upcoming invoices or special billing arrangements.

  • Use the “End of Current Period” cancellation option to avoid access disruption for members who have already paid for the period.

  • Communicate clearly with a member if you switch their plan (especially when downgrading) so they understand when the change takes effect.
