Overview

The Applicant Onboarding Tracker provides visibility into how far applicants have progressed through the onboarding flow after starting an application.

This feature is currently in BETA and is intended to help admins understand onboarding momentum, identify drop-off points, and prioritize follow-ups — without affecting application decisions.

What the Onboarding Tracker Shows

In the Applicants table, the Onboarding column displays:

  • A step count (e.g. 3 / 10) indicating how many onboarding steps have been completed

  • A progress bar that updates as applicants move through onboarding

The tracker reflects progress through onboarding questions and setup steps, not application review status.

Eligibility & Tracking Start Date

  • Onboarding progress is tracked only for applications started on or after December 12, 2025

  • Applicants who began applying before this date will not show onboarding progress

  • For older applicants, the Onboarding column may appear empty or unavailable.

How Onboarding Relates to Approval

It’s important to note:

  • Onboarding progress is informational only

  • Applicants can be Approved with partial or incomplete onboarding

  • Approval status and onboarding completion are not coupled

When to Use This Data

Admins commonly use the onboarding tracker to:

  • Spot applicants who started but stalled

  • Identify newly approved users who haven’t completed setup

  • Understand overall onboarding completion trends

  • Prioritize outreach or reminders

Beta Limitations

Because this feature is in BETA:

  • Historical backfilling is not supported

  • Progress tracking logic may evolve as flows are refined

We recommend using this column as directional insight, not a strict requirement.
