Overview

Yayem supports two staff roles:

  • Managers – Higher-level access for operational and administrative actions

  • Users – Limited access for day-to-day support and coordination

Permissions are configured globally per community and apply to all Managers and Users within that community.

⚡︎ Any changes made to role permissions will update access instantly for everyone assigned to that role.

How to Access Roles & Permissions

  1. Navigate to Admin

  2. Open Settings

  3. Select Roles & Permissions

From here, you can review and update what Managers and Users are allowed to do.

Permission Categories

Permissions are grouped by function to keep access clear and intentional.

Best Practices

  • Grant Users access only to what they need to operate confidently

  • Reserve billing, refunds, and sensitive analytics for Managers

  • Review permissions anytime you add new staff or workflows

Notes

  • Role permissions are community-specific

  • Changes apply immediately

  • Individual overrides are not supported — permissions are role-based by design

If you need help deciding which permissions to enable, contact the Yayem team.
