You are able to create assigned lessons for your students from their curriculum to complete by specific due dates. It is important to note that for your students to be able to access the assigned lesson they must be in that specific part of the curriculum. To assign a lesson for your students navigate to and click on the classroom you'd like to create the assignment for.
In the classroom navigate to the Assignments tab then click +Add Assignment.
You will get a new window where you can choose the type of assignment for your students. Here we will click Lesson.
After clicking to add a lesson you can choose which classes to create this assignment for.
Using the dropdown menus you can choose the Curriculum, Unit, and specific Lesson to assign your students. In this example we're assigning lesson 6.4 Ticket Sales Analysis from Theme Park Unit 6.
After choosing the lesson to assign you will then be able to title the lesson for your students, create notes for them about the lesson to read before beginning, choose the specific students or all students to assign the lesson to, and the due date for the assignment.
You will see a confirmation window detailing the choices you made where you can review the assignment before creating it. If you're satisfied with how it looks you can click the Assign button at the bottom and your students will be able to see the assignment.
When your students log in they will see a banner at the top listing how many assignments they have available to complete. The above image is the screen they will see when clicking the Assignments banner. Here they will see the name of the assignment, the notes you created, the due date, and a Start button if they have the curriculum assigned.
Please note they will not be able to start the assignment if they are not assigned the curriculum in the classroom.
