How To Enable Simple Login (Standalone Single School Administrator, School Administrator & Teacher

Simple Login – What is it, who is it for, and how do I use it?

  1. What is Simple Login? Simple Login permits students to log into Yeti Academy using easy-to-remember, pictographic usernames and passwords.

  2. Who can activate Simple Login? Because it can only be activated at the class level, only teachers, school administrators, and single school administrators can enable this feature.

  3. For whom is Simple Login? It is designed for K-2, special needs, or any student who may have difficulty remembering longer login usernames and passwords.

  4. Why should we use Simple Login? Simple Login allows students to easily access Yeti Academy, giving them more time to practice their keyboarding and technology skills.

  5. When should we use Simple Login? You may use it from the beginning of the school year or whenever you find it necessary.

How To Set Up Simple Login:

First, select the Classes tab from your sidebar.


Select a class you'd like to set up Simple Login for.


Now, select Settings.

From here, select General Class Options.

Scroll down until you see the option to Enable Simple Login. Check this and hit Update. You'll also get a URL that will allow your students to log in using that login:

How To Give Students Their Passwords:

Click on the Students tab.


Select all checkboxes next to the students' names. From the right flyout menu, select Print Login Cards.

You'll land on a print-ready page of your students' login cards. Cut out and distribute the cards to the corresponding students. The card will contain important information, such as where each student logs in, a username, and a password.

To log in, students click on their names, select the number or icon representing their “secret code” or passwords, and click the blue Login button. If they enter the correct information, they will automatically be logged in.
