It's time to get your account ready for the new school year. Students should have advanced to the next grade level, so now let's update their accounts accordingly. As a District Administrator, you have the ability to reset your district's data and update the time settings, allowing them to begin the new school year in Yeti Academy with a clean slate for their new grade.

In order to reset your students, select your Schools tab from your Dashboard.

Then, select the checkbox next to the school(s) you'd like to reset. From the flyout menu on the right, select New Year Reset.

Now, you'll see a list of all of your available options to check. At minimum, here's what we recommend:

  • Archive ALL student data

  • Move students to the next grade level

  • Delete existing students progress

  • Archive ALL Student Data: Strongly Recommended
Selecting this option will save a summary of students’ stats into a specific school year that you have set under time settings. Since you can only do this once annually, it is recommended to do so at the end of the year.

  • Reset ALL Student Passwords:
This option is up to you. It will allow you to reset all students’ passwords to a specific password of your choosing. This is also irreversible.

  • Delete Existing Student Progress: Strongly Recommended
This action is irreversible and allows you to delete all progress without deleting the account itself. You may want to archive your students’ data with the first option to save a record of any progress they have made before you take this action in resetting them for the next year.

When you're finished, click Update to finalize this.

Important Note: Some New Year Resets may require a 24 hour turnaround time to run. The email address listed in the account profile will receive a status email once complete. In the meantime, you can select the View Status text in the bottom right corner to see where we're at in the process at any time.

Important Final Step: Time Settings Update

Twenty-Four (24) hours later, once your student data has been reset, your next step is to update the Time Settings for your school to the current educational year.

First select your Settings tab from your Dashboard.

Now, select your Time Settings tab and from here, update these THREE datapoints to your School Year Duration and School Educational Years to the 2025-26 school year:

After you've reset that School Educational Year to 2025-26 dates, don't forget to hit that SAVE button to activate your updates.

Now, your data sent to us from your rostering platform will be sent to the correct area for this new school year.
