The Code Progress report will let teachers and administrators know how students are doing in the Yeti Code curriculum. The report is the same for levels 1 and 2, making it easy to compare and understand.

This report focuses on completion of the units as well as their progress. You can filter for the students you'd like to see, as well as the units you'd like to see.

The legend on the right side of the screen reads as follows:

  • All 3 Stars: Students have achieved 3 stars on the level.

  • All 2 Stars: Students have achieved 2 stars on the level.

  • Completed: Students have achieved 1 star on the level.

  • Working: The lesson is in progress.

  • Flagged for Problem: The student has an issue and needs to be checked in with on their understanding of the material.

It is important to note that we use the following grading criteria:

Guide for Star Earning:
1 star = Completed, but not with the required skill(s).
2 stars = Completed, with the required skill(s), but exceeding character count*.
3 stars = Completed, with the required skill(s), not exceeding the character count*.

*Character Count: To accommodate nuances in variable names, turning functions and levels with multiple solutions, the length check is adjusted by 5 characters.

You can also download the report via a CSV file by clicking the blue page icon with the down arrow.
