An advantageous feature of Yeti Academy is that teachers and students may access it 24/7/356 when they have internet connectivity and a device. Because the internet permits us to work anytime, anywhere, we know students will also take advantage of this opportunity. Occasionally, teachers and administrators do not want students to access Yeti Academy's curriculums outside of school hours.

To prevent students from working too far ahead or getting someone else to do their work outside of the classroom, we've added the ability to pause your classroom for a time. Your students will be able to resume any classwork only when you reactivate their accounts.

To pause or unpause a classroom, first, select your Classes tab.

Then, you can see the bubbles on the right hand side that will let you know if your classroom is Paused or Active. If one is active and you don't want it to be (or vice versa), select that classroom by clicking on its name.

Now, select your Settings tab.

From here under Class Status, adjust the Status to "Active" or "Paused".

When you've selected the status you want to activate, Update.

From then on, when a student attempts to log on, they will get this message:

Now, you can be sure that your students are only working when you intend for them to be.
