Gradebook Feature (Non-Plug & Play Courses)

In non-Plug & Play courses, the Gradebook feature will allow teachers to view auto-scored assignments, as well as add grades for teacher-scored elements. This can be accessed using the “Gradebooks” button at the top menu for the class. To access time/progress related information, you will use the Reports feature.

From here, you will select the type of curriculum, and choose the gradebook you would like to view.

There are multiple filters for this feature. The teacher can adjust the view to show single or all students, choose to have the current score featured as a letter grade or a percentage, and filter by a single unit or all units. The legend at the top explains the student scores. For example, expanding to show multiple scores within a lesson. The export button at the top gives the teacher the option to export a CSV file that they can quickly view as a Google Sheet, by adding the download into their Google Drive.

Expanding student grades will feature tabs at the top, noting the assignments within the lesson. The type of score (Not Scored, Teacher Scored, or Auto Scored) as well as the type of assignment (Mark Complete, Comment, Quiz, or Assessment) are also featured here.

Teacher scored assignments will be noted at the top as “Teacher Scored” and will also feature the type of answer (Comment). The student responses are collected here. Teachers use the drop down to add a point score, and can add a comment for the students if desired.

Saving the points and/or comments will update the student score.
