If you are unable to locate your bank within Plaid, you will see an option that allows bank account connection via micro-deposits by providing your account number and routing number.
(Note: You do not need to download the Plaid app. Instead, you will simply need to update your bank account and authenticate it using the Plaid integration on the Yieldstreet platform.)
Follow the instructions below to authorize your bank account using micro-deposits
1) Login to your Yieldstreet account and navigate to your Accounts page
2) Select your investor account
3) Navigate to the Bank accounts page > "Add bank account"
From here, you will be prompted to enter the bank account flow and the Plaid screen will appear.
4) You will see a list of banks appear. Scroll down from that screen until you see the option for "Link with Account numbers"
5) Input the bank account number you'd like to connect
6) Authorize the micro-deposits. Plaid will send 1 micro-deposit into the account you confirmed in the next few days
7) When you receive the micro-deposit, return to the Yieldstreet website, and navigate to your Bank accounts page
8) You should see your bank account appearing as a saved payment method and a yellow banner on top requesting for micro-deposits
9) Click on the 'Complete now' prompt on the banner and enter the 3-letter code that you see in your bank next to the deposit amount
Once completed, your bank account will be verified.
