The issue of poor/low voice quality for the person on the other end of the call could be due to high microphone volume in Yolla on your device.
We recommend reducing the microphone volume level in Yolla if you are facing such issues. When the call is in progress:

tap the gear icon to open the microphone gain slider
set it to the minimum.
