Connect Stripe Billing to Yonda Tax

This process describes how to connect your Stripe to Yonda. Note that this currently only applies to Stripe billing.

Follow this step-by-step guide to integrate your Stripe with Yonda Tax. This setup will allow us to pull in your sales, product, and customer data automatically for accurate tax reporting.


🧱Step 1: Activate your Yonda integration

1. Navigate to the Yonda Integrations Portal: https://portal.yondatax.com/integrations

and click the button add integration

2. Select "Stripe"

🔑Step 2: Retrieve your API credentials

1. Click "Developers"

2. Click "Reveal live key" for the Secret Key

Please use standard keys not restricted key.

3. Copy the Secret Key - keep this as you'll need it next.

If you have to use a restricted key over a secret key please provide the following permissions.

  1. Invoices → Read (Billing section)

  2. Credit notes → Read (Billing section)

  3. Charges and Refunds → Read (Core section — needed for the charge.billing_details expansions)

  4. Events → Read (Core section — open-ended poller discovers changes via /v1/events)

  5. Connect → Read (for GET /v1/account / rak_accounts_kyc_basic_read — needed at integration setup time to resolve the acct_... id)

🌐Step 3: Connect to Yonda Portal

4. Navigate back to Yonda integrations: https://portal.yondatax.com/integration

5. Select the "Stripe" button

6. Paste the Secret Key into the "API Key" field.

7. Optional: Input your store name

8. If all the sales through Stripe are for resale /wholesale then select the "Wholesale"

toggle. If not leave it unselected.

9. Click "Save Integration"

✅ You're All Set!
