📝 Overview
With Yoom, you can integrate with Google Sheets to automate various actions using app triggers.
This guide covers important considerations when using Google Sheets as an app trigger.
🔑 Key Points to Keep in Mind
1️⃣ Behavior When Testing a Google Sheet Trigger
When running a trigger test, the system always retrieves the second row (the first data row below the headers), regardless of how many rows are in the sheet.
However, in live operation, the trigger activates when a row is added or updated, not just based on the second row.

2️⃣ Using Google Sheets with Google Forms
⚠ Important: If your Google Sheet directly reflects Google Form responses, the trigger will not activate due to system limitations.

3️⃣ Behavior when Deleting an Entire Row with the "When a row is updated" Action
If you set the trigger to "When a row is updated" it will NOT run when an entire row is deleted.
However, if a value is deleted from only the target column, the trigger will execute.
4️⃣ Trigger Automatically Turning OFF After Reloading the Page
In some cases, after completing the Flowbot setup and turning the trigger ON, it may automatically turn OFF upon reloading the page.
🔹 Why does this happen?
When enabling the trigger, Yoom saves the original sheet data. If this process fails, the trigger is automatically disabled.
🔹 You will receive an email notification:
"[Yoom] An error occurred in the app trigger settings."
🔹 Possible reasons for failure:
❌ No columns are set in the sheet
❌ Retrieving data takes too long, resulting in a timeout error
If neither of these apply, please contact the support team!
5️⃣ Unexpected Trigger Behavior When Adding Rows
Even if you set the trigger to "When a row is updated", it may still execute when a new row is added.
🔹 When does it run?
If the new row added contains values in both the unique value column and the update detection column, the trigger will execute.
🔹 When does it NOT run?
If the new row added contains a value in the unique value column but the update detection column is empty, the trigger will not start.
