📝 Overview

With Yoom, you can integrate with Bubble to perform various actions.

This guide explains how to register Bubble in Yoom and highlights important considerations when setting data type names for action settings.

🛠️ How to Register

1. Access Yoom & Find Bubble

First, log into Yoom, search for Bubble in the My Apps menu, and click on it.

2. Required Info

When integrating with Bubble, you will need the following:

  • Account name: Choose any name you like. This will be displayed on Yoom.

  • Access token: See section below.

  • Subdomain: See section below.

🔑 Setting the Access Token

Follow these steps to set your access token:

1. Access the Target Bubble App

Go to the Bubble app you wish to integrate with Yoom.

2. Allow Data Viewing via the API

Click the gear icon ⚙️ on the left to go to the settings page.

Then, click the API tab and enable the relevant items under APIs and Backend Workflows as shown below.

3. Generate an API Key

In the API Tokens menu, click Generate a new API token to create a new API token. Copy the key labeled Private key for later use.

🏝️ Setting the Subdomain

1. Copy the Subdomain from APIs & Backend Workflows

In APIs and Backend Workflows section, look for the URL, and copy the subdomain part (highlighted in red).

Integrating with Yoom

Go back to Yoom's integration screen.

Paste the copied API key into the Access Token field, and paste the copied subdomain into the Subdomain field.

Click Add to complete the registration.

☝️ Note: When Setting Data Type Names

Data type names refer to settings that you define when creating things in Bubble (e.g. when creating records or data types).

To find the data type name, go to the Data page of your target app in Bubble. The data type name is highlighted in red in the image below.

When setting a data type name in Yoom, please follow these guidelines:

  • No spaces

  • All letters must be lowercase

If the original data type name doesn't meet the above conditions, correct it to the rules below and enter it in Yoom's data type field. You do not need to change the data type name in Bubble itself.
