🌐 Browser RPA: How to Resume Work if Your Incognito Window Closes

Written by Yoom Customer Service

📝 Overview

Yoom’s Browser RPA allows you to automate actions in a browser. When you enter a URL in the first action, a Secret/Incognito window automatically opens.

If you accidentally close this window while setting up your Browser RPA actions, you can reopen it and continue configuring your remaining actions.

This guide explains how to reopen the Secret/Incognito window and resume your setup.

🛠️ How to Set Up

1. Re-enter the URL to resume setup

Go to the Browser Actions screen in Yoom and click the + icon at the point where you want to resume configuring actions.

☝️ Note:

If you want to add an action in the middle of your existing flow, click the + icon at the relevant location.

Then, select "Add browser action."

Re-enter the URL you set in the first action, and click "Start setting."

2. Switch to "Standard Browser Operation" mode

Once the Secret/Incognito window opens again, go to the "Set an Action for the Element" menu at the bottom left.

Turn ON the "Standard Browser Operation" toggle.

📍 Example:

When this setting is enabled, you can navigate the website normally. Clicking an element will not open the Browser Actions configuration menu.

3. Navigate to the page where you want to resume

With "Standard Browser Operation" enabled, manually navigate to the page or location where you want to resume configuring your actions.

Once you reach the desired location, turn OFF the "Standard Browser Operation" toggle at the bottom left.

This switches you back to Browser RPA action configuration mode. You can now click elements and configure your actions again.

That’s it!

You can now continue configuring your Browser RPA actions from where you left off. 🎉
