📝 Overview
Connecting X (formerly Twitter) with Yoom allows you to automate your social media presence. For example, you can automatically post updates on X whenever a new entry is added to a Google Sheet or a Notion database.
This guide will show you how to set up this connection!
🛠️ How to Set Up
1. Access the X Developer Console
Log in to your X account and visit the X Developer Console. If you haven't registered as a developer yet, you will need to complete the registration process first.
2. Create a New App
Once in the console, click the + button to add a new app.
Enter the name of your application.
Select "Production" as the environment.
3. Configure User Authentication
Select your newly created app from the list and click "Set up" under the "User authentication settings" section.
Fill in the following details:
App permissions: Choose the level of access you need
Type of app: Select Web App, Automated App, or Bot.
Callback URL/Redirect URL: Enter https://yoom.fun/settings/my_apps/oauth_callback
Website URL: Enter https://lp.yoom.fun/
After saving the changes, copy the "Client ID" and "Client Secret" provided. You'll need these for the next step.
4. Connect in Yoom
Go back to Yoom and navigate to "My Apps".
Search for "X" and select it.
Paste the "Client ID" and "Client Secret" you copied earlier.
You will be redirected to X for authentication. Review the permissions and click "Authorize app".
Once you see the success message in Yoom, your integration is ready! 🎉
