📝 Overview
Integrating Salesforce with Yoom allows you to sync data, automate processes, and enhance workflows.
This guide walks you through registering Salesforce as a My App in Yoom and configuring the necessary Salesforce settings for seamless integration.
☁️ How to Register Salesforce in Yoom
1. In Yoom, navigate to My App → + New Connection.
2. Find and select Salesforce.
3. On the Salesforce login screen, enter your username and password to log in.
⚠️ Important: Do not use a salesforce account that is already linked to other services.
4. On the Access Confirmation screen, click "Allow" to complete the registration.
🛠️ How to Configure Salesforce for Yoom Integration
To ensure smooth integration, you need to adjust some Salesforce security settings.
1️⃣ Log in to Salesforce
Open Salesforce and click the settings button in the top right corner.
2️⃣ Modify Session Settings
1. In the search bar at the top left, type "Session Settings" and select the option from the menu.
2. Under "Session Settings", uncheck the following option:
"Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated."
3. Click "Save" to apply changes.
⚠️ Why is this necessary?
This setting prevents session-based IP restrictions that could block Yoom from accessing Salesforce data.
⚠️ Important Notes
If Salesforce is already integrated with other applications (e.g., Slack), Yoom's API connection may not work properly.
If you encounter connection errors, check your Salesforce security settings or try a different Salesforce account.
🎉 That’s it! Your Salesforce My App is now registered in Yoom! 🎉
