📝 Overview

To integrate Shopify with Yoom, you need to register a custom app on Shopify's Developer Platform.

This guide will walk you through the app creation, installation, and integration process step by step.

📢 Before You Start:
✔️ You need a Shopify Partner Account.
✔️ Each app can only be linked to one store, and the store URL cannot be changed later.
✔️ Keep your Client ID and Client Secret handy—you’ll need them later.

1️⃣ Create a Custom App in Shopify

Sign Up for a Shopify Partner Account

Click Sign Up (top-right corner) and create an account.

Log in to the Shopify Partner Dashboard.

Create a New App

From the side menu, click “Apps” > "All apps" > “Create App.”

Click “Create an app manually.”

Enter a clear app name (e.g., Yoom Integration) and click Create.

Set Up App URLs

Open "Configuration" in the left menu.

Set the following URLs:

Click "Save" or "Save and release" on the upper right corner.

Copy API Credentials (Client ID & Secret)

Copy the Client ID and Client Secret - you'll need these later in Yoom.

Go to “Overview” in the left menu.

Click “Choose distribution”.

Select "Custom distribution".

Link your Shopify Store

Enter your Shopify store domain (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com).

Click "Generate link".

📢 Important:

  • Include ".myshopify.com" in the store domain.

  • You cannot change the store once linked!

2️⃣ Install the App in Your Store

Open the Installation Link

Copt the installation link generated in the step before.

Open the link in a browser.

Log in to your Shopify admin account.

Complete the Installation in Yoom

After logging into Shopify, you will be redirected to Yoom's homepage.

In the same browser, log in to Yoom and open the Shopify My Apps registration page.

Afterward, you’ll be redirected to Yoom’s top page.

⚠️ Note: Please DO NOT close the browser or tab and continue to next steps.
If you use a different browser or tab, an error will occur!

Log in to Yoom, open "My Apps" from the side menu, and click "Add".

Choose Shopify from the App List.

Register CPI Credentials in Yoom

On the Shopify Registration page, enter:

  • API Key → Client ID

  • API Secret Key → Client Secret

  • Subdomain → The first part of your store URL
    (e.g., "yourstore" from yourstore.myshopify.com)

*Client ID and Client Secret should be pasted from this site.

Click "Add" to proceed.

Finalize the Installation

You will be redirected to Shopify's installation page.

Click “Install” to complete the app setup.

🎉 Your Shopify app is now registered and integrated with Yoom!
