📝 Overview
An email trigger allows you to automatically activate a Flowbot when an email matching specific conditions is received.
🛠️ How to Set Up an Email Trigger
1️⃣ Set the Trigger Conditions
Create a unique email address for the trigger.
Define the conditions for activating the Flowbot.
You can customize the prefix of the email address.
📌 Example:
In the setup below, the email address invoice.trigger.bf02a3df-c624-44bb-8719-bebe13e764e2@yoom.fun
is created.
The Flowbot is triggered when the email subject contains the keyword “Invoice.”
2️⃣ Verify the Retrieved Email Data
On the next screen, send a test email to the created email address.
Make sure the email matches the trigger conditions.
If the trigger fires successfully,
✔️ The email text and attachment will be retrieved.
✔️ The email data will be automatically stored in the output.
Use this retrieved email data to configure and test subsequent operations.
⚠️ Important Points
✔️ No "OR" Conditions:
You cannot set multiple trigger conditions using “OR” logic.
✔️ Duplicate Email Triggers:
If multiple Flowbots use the same address as a trigger, all Flowbots will activate when an email is received.
🎉 That’s it! Your email trigger is now set up.
