📝 Overview

The “Manage Database” function in Yoom allows you to work with databases such as YoomDB, Google Spreadsheets, and Notion on a record-by-record basis.

While available operations vary depending on the app, the core functions include:

✔️ Add a record
✔️ Retrieve a record
✔️ Retrieve multiple records
✔️ Update a record
✔️ Delete a record

This guide provides an overview of each function and step-by-step instructions.

🛠 How to Configure each Database Action

For this tutorial, we will use a sample Yoom database to explain the process.

1️⃣ Add a Record

This action allows you to add a new record to the database.

Each record is added one at a time.

You can add:

✔️ Retrieved values from previous actions
✔️ Fixed values

2️⃣ Retrieve a record

Use this action to search for and retrieve a specific record based on search conditions.

Key Features:

✔️ Use values from previous actions as search criteria
✔️ Set multiple conditions for precise searches

⚠️ Note:
Columns synchronized via the relation function cannot be used in search conditions.

⬇️ The retrieved data can be used as output for other operations

3️⃣ Retrieve multiple records

Use this action to retrieve multiple records and store them as a list-type output.

Why use this?

✔ The retrieved list can be processed in another operation (e.g., "Repeat the Same Process").
✔ You can set multiple search conditions, just like in Retrieve a Record.

4️⃣ Update a record

Use this action to modify existing records that match specific search criteria.

Key features:
Filter records using search conditions
Update values using outputs from previous actions or fixed values
✔ Supports multiple conditions for precise updates

5️⃣ Delete a record

Use this action to delete a record that matches specific search criteria.

How it works:
Filter records using search conditions
Delete only matching records
✔ Supports multiple conditions, just like "Retrieve a Record"

🚨 Caution: Deleted records cannot be restored. Double-check your settings before proceeding.
