Normally, when an error occurs on Flowbot, email notifications are sent only to the Flowbot creator.

This article describes how to extend these notifications to other team members using chat tools.

After setting up email forwarding using Flowbot, the error notification email triggers the flow, which forwards the email and sends notifications to selected chat tools, such as:

The email trigger is activated when the email address specified in step 1 receives an email.

Therefore, the Flowbot creator must forward the error notification emails they receive to the specified address.

Since error notifications are sent to the Flowbot creator, they must handle the forwarding setup.

Finally, integrate the chat tool where you want to send the notifications. In this example, we'll use Slack.

Select Slack. Then, select "Send message to channel" as shown below.

After selecting the channel ID, configure the message content.

Once all the settings are complete, run the Flowbot. When an error occurs, a message will be sent to Slack with the notification, as shown below.
