📝 Overview

Although Zoom cannot directly trigger a Flowbot when a meeting is scheduled, you can simulate this behavior using YoomDB’s Data Connect feature. By setting up a connection between Zoom and YoomDB, you can automatically activate a Flowbot when a new meeting is added.

🛠️ How to Connect YoomDB & Zoom

1. Create a Yoom Database Table

  • Access your Yoom workspace and select a project.

  • If this is your first time, create a new database.

  • Click "Add Table" and create a new empty table.

  • Delete any unnecessary columns created by default.

2. Connect Zoom to YoomDB

  • Click “Data Connect” in the top-right corner, then select “Zoom (OAuth)” from the app list.

  • Choose “List of Meetings” as the action and proceed.

  • If you haven’t integrated Zoom with Yoom, refer to this article to complete the integration setup.

  • Enter the meeting reservation address and verify the connection.

3. Set Up Sync and Trigger

  • After connecting, choose the meeting ID as the unique value.

  • Set the sync frequency: choose either manual or auto sync (auto sync can run every hour, depending on your plan).

  • Turn on the database trigger to automatically start the integration.

Once the connection is set up, your meetings will be automatically synced to YoomDB whenever a new meeting is created, based on the selected sync frequency.

🤖 How to Create the Flowbot

Once your YoomDB setup is complete, it’s time to create a Flowbot that will be triggered when a new meeting is added.

1. Create a New Flowbot

  • From the Flowbot page, click “Create New” and choose “Create from scratch.”

  • Set the trigger to Trigger from an app event > Yoom > When a new record is created.

  • Enter all the required fields to finish the trigger setup.

  • Add any desired operations after this trigger to complete the Flowbot.

2. Activate the Trigger

  • Once your Flowbot is built, make sure to turn on the trigger.
