📝 Overview
This article explains how to resolve issues with logging in using two-factor authentication (2FA), especially when switching devices.
🔹 Approach 1: Ask Another Administrator to Disable 2FA
1. Disable 2FA via Another Administrator
Ask a different workspace administrator to disable 2FA for the affected user in the Member Management section.
2. Re-enable 2FA
After 2FA is disabled, the user can re-enable it on their account.
🔹 Approach 2: Use the Recovery Code
1. What is the Recovery Code?
If you can't receive the 2FA code due to a device issue, you can use the recovery code issued when setting up 2FA. This code is provided in a CSV file at setup.
2. Using the Recovery Code
You have five recovery codes available. Enter one of them on the 2FA screen after entering your username and password.
☝️ Important:
The recovery code is the only alternative method to access your account if 2FA fails.
⭐️ Additional Notes:
- Keep your recovery code sage. They're the only way to recover your account if you're locked out due to 2FA issues.
- If neither of these approaches works, contact support for further help.
