🤔 What is Data Connect?
Data Connect is a feature that synchronizes information from other cloud services into Yoom’s database.
With Data Connect, you can aggregate and sync data in Yoom without logging into other cloud services, making it useful for the following scenarios:
Merge multiple tools into a single company record
Reduce the effort of checking multiple SaaS platforms.
Receiving notifications when Google Sheets are updated.
🛠️ Feature Details
Data Connect provides the following key functionalities.
However, some features may be restricted depending on the app.
1️⃣ Retrieve a List of Data
Synchronize all data from the selected app into the Yoom database in one go.
From the second synchronization onward, newly added or updated records in the app will be synced with Yoom.
2️⃣ Link Data
Works like VLOOKUP in Excel or Google Sheets.
Links app information based on any fields in the Yoom database.
📌 Example:
Link customer information managed in Notion and Google Sheets using customer names or email addresses as keys.
3️⃣ Export Tables to Google Sheets
Export table information from Yoom to Google Sheets at scheduled intervals or manually on demand.
📌 Note: This feature is only available for Google Sheets.
⚠️ Important Notes When Using Data Connect
1️⃣ Data Deletion Behavior
If data is deleted in the synchronized app, it will not be deleted in the Yoom database.
To remove such data, you must manually delete it from Yoom using the checkbox next to each record.
2️⃣ Synchronization Timing
Real-time synchronization is only available for manual sync.
Automatic sync runs at fixed intervals based on when you first set it up.
📌 Example Synchronization Times
If the first sync was at 10:14 AM on Sept 1, 2023:

3️⃣ Data Synchronization Limits
There is a limit to the amount of data that can be synchronized at once.
Limits vary depending on the app, so please check the app-specific notes when selecting it.
4️⃣ Displayed Items & Synchronization
You can only synchronize fields that are included in “Displayed Items” in the Data Connect settings.
If you need to sync additional fields, you may be able to add them to the Yoom database using Flowbot.
