Scenarios Where a Database Cannot be Duplicated

🔹 Image/File Columns

  • Only the columns are duplicated.

  • The actual data in each record will not be duplicated.

🔹 Data Connect References

  • Columns referencing tables from other Yoom databases using Data Connect are not duplicated.

  • However, references within the same table are duplicated.

🔹 Record Limit

  • A maximum of 10,000 records can be duplicated per table.

  • Records beyond the 10,000th will not be duplicated.

  • Note: The duplication process will still be marked as "completed" even if records beyond this limit are not included.

🔹 Invalid Columns

  • Databases containing invalid columns cannot be duplicated.

  • Ensure that all columns are valid before initiating duplication.

🔹 Avoid Structural Changes During Duplication

While duplication is in progress, DO NOT:

  • Add, delete, or edit columns

  • Add new Data Connect integrations

🔹 Record Consistency

  • If records are added, updated, or deleted in the original database during duplication, this may lead to data discrepancies between the original and the duplicated database.

💡 Tip

For a smoother duplication process, it's recommended to pause updates and refrain from making structural changes until the duplication is fully complete.
